Nu-Hardstyle has harder kicks, and less melody in the first and last parts. I listen to jumpstyle and nu-hardstyle. You sound like Jumpstyle xD

xD Then you should focus on getting hardstyle sounds. You have to make your hardstyle kick from scratch. I suggest getting the Junglist and Camelphat VSTs. You can make a hardstyle kick with a lot of work.

Camelphat is the best. If you can buy it, you should. What I do to make kicks is;

Get a basic waveform (probably a sine or a pulse)
Then add alternating Distortion filters and EQ filters, like this.

After you apply distortion, mess with the EQ, and it will change a lot.

Music-Wise, probably. I'd personally like to find an actual dedicated close community of electronic artists, but it's nice here, and I do get some tips and advice on occasion.
